Welcome to this workshop in NodeGoat offered by InfraVis and CDHU 19 March 2026. NodeGoat is a web-based instrument designed for visualizing data from the social sciences and humanities across space and time. It enables users to map, connect, and analyze data, as well as to share research results in an interactive way.
InfraVis, together with NAISS UPPMAX, HPC2N, and LUNARC is providing an introduction to Python and Using Python in an HPC environment. Dates: 27-28 November & 1-2 December 2025.

Björn Thuresson and Mario Romero will lead a workshop to survey elicitation methods towards visualization design. We will have a discussion on what makes most sense for different projects. We will meet in the visualization studio VIC as well as in zoom.

InfraVis Seminar Series: Preprints: The what/why/how of a faster dissemination of research Abstract: In the fast-paced world of scientific discovery, rapid dissemination of research findings is crucial for accelerating progress and knowledge sharing. However the traditional publishing system hinders this process leading to delays, increased costs, and limited access. Preprints, preliminary versions of scientific manuscripts that have not undergone formal peer review, have emerged as game-changers dismantling barriers and enabling immediate sharing of scientific ideas.
