The theme of this year’s conference was “Open Science: Trust and Integrity in Science.” In his talk, Emanuel introduced InfraVis and underscored the infrastructure’s role in enabling innovation and advancing the principles of open science.
The session featuring InfraVis brought together representatives from several major Swedish research infrastructures that are developing new platforms and methodologies to strengthen open science. The session concluded with a panel discussion.
In addition to InfraVis, the following research infrastructures and representatives presented their work:
- Karl-Johan Lindholm – Director and Chair of the Operative Board, Swedigarch (Swedish National Infrastructure for Digital Archaeology)
- Helena Hulth – Coordinator and Secretary of the Operative Board, Swedigarch
- Johan Fihn Marberg – Head of IT, Swedish National Data Service (SND)
The session was chaired by Nicolò Dell’Unto, Professor of Archaeology at Lund University.
During the coffee break, Jens Nirme and Jonas Ahlstedt, also from the Lund University node, demonstrated several InfraVis projects using virtual reality.
