Workshop: Advanced Visualization Tools in Heritage Science – Heritage Science theme

The hackathon that InfraVis arranged together with LINXS and QIM proved to be so inspiring and successful that it has steered up the interest to organize a similar LINXS Workshop in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

This workshop is aimed at anyone interested in processing and exploitation of tomographic images within the fields of natural and cultural heritage. It is showing how to analyse and explore natural and cultural heritage materials in a novel and exciting way. The participants will familiarise with the most advanced tools for quantitative analysis and visualization of 3D & 4D images using non-destructive tomographic methods. A full immersion in visualization technologies, including 3D rendering, augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) will allow participants to look at data from a different a more complete perspective.
