InfraVis took part in the 37th MAX IV User Meeting, held on 19–21 January in Lund. This year’s meeting marked two important milestones for the laboratory: ten years since the first beamline became operational and forty years of scientific activity.

InfraVis contributed with two poster presentations, delivered by Emanuel Larsson, coordinator of the Lund University InfraVis node, and Carl Troein from the same node.

The programme centred on MAX4U, the planned upgrade of the 3 GeV storage ring, and the new scientific possibilities the development will bring. For InfraVis, the meeting provided an opportunity to connect with the MAX IV and FASM user communities, gain insight into evolving research needs and discuss how advanced visualization and data expertise can support future experiments and analysis.

We look forward to continuing our collaboration as MAX IV enters its next phase.
