13–15 January 2025 | Lund, Sweden
InfraVis was honored to have been invited to the 36th MAX IV user meeting to deliver a 45-minute plenary presentation, shared by Anders Ynnerman and Kajsa M Paulsson, showcasing InfraVis and underscoring the critical role of scientific data visualization. Additionally, four posters were presented by InfraVis:
Emanuel Larsson (LU): InfraVis – The National Research Infrastructure for Data Visualization
Carl Troein (LU): EXHALE – A Graphical User Interface for Analyzing X-Ray Fluorescence Maps in Lung Tissue Research
Jonas Alhstedt (LU): Creating a Virtual Beamline Environment
Joakim Bohlin (Chalmers): Interactive VR Simulation of Protein and Nucleic Acid Structures
One highlight of the event was Joakim Bohlin’s VR demo, which allowed attendees to explore protein structures in detail through a virtual reality environment. The interactive demo was well-received, attracting significant interest from participants.
The meeting provided a valuable opportunity for InfraVis to engage with researchers and stakeholders, including representatives from Vinnova and the Swedish Research Council, and to share ongoing developments in data visualization.
