At the MAX IV Laboratory / European Spallation Source ERIC / SciLifeLab Summit Kajsa M Paulsson Paulsson, vice-director of InfraVis, and Eva Stensköld, director of Swedish National Data Service, shared a session on stage highlighting how the Swedish national research infrastructures are addressing one of today’s biggest challenges: not producing data, but the handling, analysis and visualization of the data.
To meet this challenge, research infrastructures in Sweden need to act as a connected ecosystem rather than isolated units. Funders and decision makers must be clear that collaboration is the way forward — and the RIs, such as InfraVis and SND, have both the responsibility and the power to reach out, connect, and build the collaborative ecosystem our researchers need.
InfraVis is committed to this vision and looks forward to contributing to a well-connected research infrastructure landscape for Sweden.
