InfraVis, in collaboration with Huminfra Sweden and Swedish Digital Archaeology, hosted a satellite event at the Swedish e-Science Academy conference in Umeå.

As research infrastructures becbecomes increasingly vital to the social sciences, arts, and humanities, this half-day session highlighted how digital tools, data, and visualization are transforming these fields. Drawing on the long-standing expertise of Humlab at Umeå University, the InfraVis@UMU team demonstrated how advanced visualization could support research across disciplines.

Together with Huminfra, which supports digital and experimental research in the humanities, and SweDigArch, which advances data-driven approaches to archaeology and human–environment studies at the Environmental Archaeology Lab (MAL), the session showcased how national infrastructures collaborate to strengthen Sweden’s digital research landscape.
