InfraVis Presented at DHNB: Digital Humanities in the Nordic and Baltic Countries
How do digital humanities researchers work with large and complex datasets?
At the DHNB: Digital Humanities in the Nordic and Baltic Countries 2026 conference in March, InfraVis was presented by Linnéa Tjernström and Evelina Liliequist (both from the Umeå University node at Humlab) at Aarhus University through a poster and lightning talk.
InfraVis was introduced as a national research infrastructure supporting digital humanities research through advanced data visualisation, distributed expertise, and technical support—providing resources and capacities that go beyond individual projects.
The conference also looked ahead: during the closing ceremony, it was announced that Umeå University will host DHNB 2027. Organised by Humlab under the theme “Human(ities) in the Loop”, the conference will take place on 1–5 March 2027.
