InfraVis Annual Report for 2024

It’s the time of the year: InfraVis annual report for 2024 is now available for download.

In 2024, InfraVis entered a phase of steady development, continuing its role as Sweden’s national infrastructure for data visualization and analysis. The focus this year was on improving user support, strengthening collaborations with other research infrastructures, and making services more accessible to a broader research community.

A second national user call confirmed ongoing interest in visualization support, leading to a noticeable increase in support projects and helpdesk requests. InfraVis also offered 14 open training events with over 870 participants and continued its hands-on training through more advanced support projects.

Throughout the year, 104 projects were supported across various scientific fields. Strategic collaborations were also initiated with MAX IV and NAISS, with ongoing discussions involving other national infrastructures.

This report was compiled by the InfraVis Management Team together with Node Coordinators and Module Leaders, based on collected statistics and indicators, and reviewed by the Steering Committee.
